Challenge Accepted

I'll just jump right in,
I joined The Jane Eyre: Read the Book, See the Movie Challenge at Goodreads. Why? Cause it seemed like fun. And "I'm doing a literary challenge" sounded like a better excuse to go to the movie than "I like pretty costume dramas!" I'm probably not gonna go full on and re-read the entire book. I love my Bronte's, but I chose a bad month to read heavy on the melodrama books and some bits in Eyre might break me in half.

Also, this is my little widget for it. Isn't it cute and official?

but I do love trailers

Have I ever said? I have a thing for trailers. Maybe it's the excitement of a new movie, or the dramatic synchronized music, or that sometimes I can see an entire movie in three minutes. Whatever it is, I sure do love trailers.
And while I don't think we need another one (I'm partial to the Toby Stevens/Ruth Wilson version, but to each their own) and Michael Fassbender is too handsome(!!) to be Rochester, my period drama loving side knows I'm going to watch this.
It does look really good though, really on par with the Gothic themes (I'm not going to bash it before I've seen it, just be momentarily put off by yet another remake).
